CalWEP and AWE to Host Breakout Session at California Water Data Summit

California Data Collaborative (CaWD)'s Second Annual Water Data Summit takes place August 24-25th at Stanford Graduate School of Business. This two-day event will feature interactive panels on how big water data integration is supporting water managers in California.

Mary Ann Dickinson of the California Water Efficiency Partnership and the Alliance for Water Efficiency will chair Thursday's Breakout Session from 1:30pm-3:00pm and address the Outdoor Water Savings Research Initiative. CalWEP's Lisa Cuellar will speak about Sustainable Landscaping ROI Tools. Click here for more information about the Breakout Session.

Summary:

FIRST REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS TO OCCUR AFTER FRIDAY, JULY 14, 2017

Under supervision/direction of the Water Efficiency Manager, this position is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of water efficiency programs; work with customers and staff to improve water efficiency; provide information on water efficiency to members of the public, businesses, public agencies, as well as colleagues; respond to customer inquiries; develop and maintain knowledge of water efficient practices, devices and techniques; develop close working relationships with other water efficiency staff and provide outreach that establishes a positive image for the District's water efficiency programs.   The position will also work collaboratively across the Planning Division to coordinate analysis from the financial planning group with the development of new programs.  The primary role of the Water Efficiency Specialist Job Series is comprehensive oversight of water efficiency programs from development to supervision of consultants to program evaluation.  Incumbent will represent the District at community events while engaging with outside agencies, vendors and the public regarding water efficiency issues, energy efficiency, water resource policy, and regional initiatives.
