Status of Council Grants and Cooperative Agreements:

Proposition 50 Water Use Efficiency Funding

The California Department of Water Resources has posted the list of Prop 50 Water Use Efficiency grant awards (see below). All three of the Council's proposals were awarded full funding! They are as follows:

  1. Making the Connections (Training): $99,649
  2. Innovations that Work (Research): $147,779
  3. Reaching Out (Technical Assistance): $197,320

Each of these grants is for a two to three year term and will commence in January 2008. Additional information may be found at: http://www.owue.water.ca.gov/finance/index.cfm. The Council sincerely appreciates the on-going support from the Department of Water Resources in awarding us this mission critical funding!
